Are you still using a human glucometer in your veterinary practice?

Can we suggest, in our least bossy voice, that you should really be testing glucose with something specifically designed and calibrated for cats and dogs.

Vepa supplies the g-PET Plus+ Glucometer. A species-specific veterinary tool. It's not for pesky humans; it's for their dog and cat masters.

~ We'll give you a FREE g-PET Plus+ Glucometer ~

We're running an amnesty on human glucometers. Send yours to us, and we'll send you a brand new g-PET Plus+ veterinary glucometer to replace it.

Limited to the first 10 practices. The human devices will be donated to Diabetes Australia.

Click on the button to send Jack (Business Manager) an email, or call him directly on 0448 174 083

At Vepa, our warranty is amazing...

A lot can happen in five years.

Back in 2018, we'd never heard of Covid. Instead, we were celebrating Australia's first same-sex marriages.

Elon Musk joined in the fun by launching the world's most powerful rocket, SpaceX's Falcon Heavy, and Christian Ronaldo scored his 50th career hat trick.

Oh, and Barabara Streisand announced the successful cloning of her dog Samantha. (twice).

Good times!

And if you'd purchased a Skyla Chemistry analyser from Vepa back then, well - it would still be covered by our amazing warranty.

Such is our confidence in that very robust little analyser; we even add another year to your warranty if any of your team passes our online exam and becomes a Vepa expert. Yep, that's a SIX YEAR warranty.

So you've not only been enjoying flexible, reliable, cost-effective testing, but you've been doing it with peace of mind. Knowing that Vepa has your back if anything goes wrong.

We are more than just agents; we are exclusive partners of Skya. This means we maintain and repair the machines here in Australia, and we make the call on any warranty claims.

And guess what?

We've never rejected a claim, regardless of what happened. It was knocked off the bench, you say? When a Rottweiler went beserk? Someone spilt bourbon and coke into it during the staff party? In a fit of madness during lockdown, you jammed idexx tests into it?  It doesn't matter - you were covered, and you're still covered for your sixth year.

Amazing eh? (Barbara's dog was a Coton de Tulear, by the way, and the cloned dogs are called Miss Scarlett and Miss Violet.)

Heya folks!

My name is Albert, and I'm a 7-year-old urinary cat who has been living with Vepa team member Peter H since I was about 18 months old.

My original humans were amazing, but when they brought home a new (human) sibling for me, my stressy nature really took over, and I blocked on them…. TWICE! Sadly, that was a little too much for a young family, and I was relinquished to the team at Greencross Sandringham, where I met Pete one evening while he visited the clinic for a training session. Instantly in love, he took me home a couple of days later.

Pete was arrogantly confident that with the right diet, no babies, and liberal use of Feliway, my urinary issues could be managed.

However, I quickly proved him wrong by blocking for a third time late one Sunday evening. After spending yet another night in ECC, by the next afternoon, I'd received a perineal urethrostomy - although I wish I'd known that was going to be the outcome beforehand! Since that PU, with the exception of very occasional UTIs, I've been living my best life as a short (urethra) king!

Sadly, old habits die hard, and while I've gotten a lot better at my stress responses as I've grown up, I've always been a 'quick to love, and quick to run away scared' sorta guy - much like Dad. I'm also extremely food-motivated, love lounging in sunny windows, and am a terrible photography subject. The amount of 'black void' photos on Pete's phone is proof of this!

Albi xoxo
